Micromax Canvas 1 launched in Nepal
Pashupati Trade Link Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of Micromax smartphones in Nepal has launched their latest budget smartphone the Micromax Canvas 1. The phone which was launched back in July, 2017 in India has finally made its way to Nepal. Priced at Rs 12,485, the phone brings some compelling hardware and software choices. The Micromax Canvas 1 packs a 5 inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 294PPI. The display is edged out by a 2.5D glass giving users a seamless experience. Under the hood, the Canvas 1 packs a 1.3Ghz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor along with the Mali T720MP2 GPU. The processor is backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The inbuilt memory can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 64GB. The phone also is 4G compatible and supports dual Nano-sim cards.
In the camera department, the phone packs a f/2.2 8MP rear camera accompanied by a dual tone LED flash. The phone too has a 5MP front camera also with a LED flash for all your selfies. Software-wise, the phone runs Micromax’s own custom UI based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone sadly doesn’t come with a fingerprint scanner. However, the phone does come with other sensors like an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and a digital compass. And finally powering this device all up is a 2500mAh non-user removable battery.
