New 2020 Mahindra Thar set to head towards the Indian market by March

The all new 2020 Mahindra Thar is all set to make its launch in the India market, which is said to be based on a new GEN3 platform. It was also reported that it will be offered with either 6 or 7 variants.

The 2020 Mahindra Thar will be powered by an all new 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel engine, with the capability of producing 140 bhp of power and a torque of 400 NM whereas the offroader could also be equipped with a 2.0 L 4 cylinder, mStallion petrol engine producing 190 PS power and 380 NM of torque.

As being a new 2020 Thar it is expected to include an automatic transmission option and also a few changes in designs, engine set up and feature loaded cabin. This SUV will also receive remote locking and front power windows, Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat-belt reminder, new twin-dial instrument console with an MID in the centre, central locking and speed alert will come as standard.
