New BS-6 Honda X-Blade launches in India & gets a hike in price

Honda launches new BS-6 X-Blade in India the starting price of INRs 1,06,687, we can see a price hike of INRs 17,551. The BS-6 X-Blade is also offered in Single disc & Double disc variants. The BS-6 model is said to have no major changes. X-Blade is available in four colours : Pearl Spartan Red, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.

The BS-6 Honda X-Blade is powered by 160 cc Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM FI) – Honda Eco Technology engine which delivers powers of 14 bhp @ 8,000rpm and max torque of 14.7 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm. The new Honda Eco Technology uses a new 8 onboard senors to provide optimum fuel and air mixture in order to achieve greater performance and efficiency As the company says that the engine is developed to offer superior efficiency with best in class torque.

The LED headlights, LED taillights and the digital instrumentation few other features on BS-6 Honda X-Blade remains unchanged. The new changes offered on this model are the new rear disc brakes, new dynamic graphics and an engine stop switch. It gets a 17-inch alloy rims at both ends shod with bias-ply tyres. The new BS-6 X-Blade will be competing with Bajaj Pulsar NS 160, Suzuki Gixxer, Apache RTR 160 and Hero Xtreme 160R.
