New French Car Brand to Enter Nepal – Citroen C5 Aircross

According to a press statement, French auto major Groupe PSA is prepared to make its debut in Nepal with the Citroen brand following the launch of the Citroen C5 Aircross SUV in 2021.

The authorized distributor of Citroen brand for Nepal will be assigned to Shangrila Motors Private Limited, the authorized distributor of Peugeot brand vehicles for Nepal.

How cool is that for those buyers who are eying on something unique to the available vehicle in the Nepalese market?

So, what are we looking at here? Let’s kick-off with the distinctive styling of C5 Aircross. This beauty wears 3D rear light effects, roof bars, and side air bumps along with 30 different combinations added to it. Despite the daytime running light is above the normal headlights, it looks quite cool in the C5 Aircross.

The inside gets the typical French Citroen II character to it and is just as stylish. Proved to be quite spacious the interior holds a square effect all over the place such as air vents along with sufficient adjustment in the steering wheel. The C5 Aircross keeps off with the fuel version and gets an 8-inch touchscreen dual-zone climate control including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Based on Groupe PSA’s EMP2 platform, this SUV measures 4,500mm in length, 1,840mm in width, 1,670mm in height, and 2,730mm in wheelbase length and has a ground clearance of 230mm. The Citroen C5 Aircross will feature a 2.0-liter diesel motor rated at 180 hp and mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
