Nissan LEAF EV to launch in Nepal by early 2021

Nissan in Nepal is all set to introduce a new EV in Nepal. Pioneer Moto Corp Pvt. ltd the authorized dealer for Nissan has announced to launch the Nissan LEAF by early 2021. Launching Nissan’s new EV in Nepal was paused previously due to the hike in excise duty and now the wait for the Nissan brand EV will come to an end.

Nissan LEAF is the Mass Marketed Electric Vehicle and also the global leader in the EV market. One of the most advanced car in Nissan’s EV segment has been selling electric cars in the world market since 2010 with over 400,000 units being sold.

Powered by 160 kilowatt electric motor producing 214 bhp of power, providing a range of 363 kilometers on a single full charge. It can be charged up to 80 percent in 40 minute.

It comes with the revolutionary e-Pedal technology which allows to drive your car with a single pedal. The car can automatically decelerate when the accelerator pedal is released, implying reduced fatigue and enjoyable driving.
