Nokia has now officially launched their latest budget smartphone, the Nokia 2 here in Nepal. The phone which was launched in the international market by HMD Global only a few weeks ago has made its way to Nepal. Priced at Rs 10,924 here are all the things the phone brings to the table.
The Nokia 2 packs a 5.0 inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 294PPI. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and is edged out by a 2.5D glass. Encased in a metallic frame and a polycarbonate back, the phone looks and feels premium. Under the hood, the Nokia 2 packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor along with the Adreno 304 GPU. The processor is backed by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The internal memory can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 128GB. The phone also does support dual nano sim-cards and is 4G capable. In the camera department, the Nokia 2 packs an 8MP rear camera along with a LED flash. The phone also has a 5MP front camera for all your selfies. The phone sadly, in this price range, doesn’t offer a fingerprint scanner. However, the phone does come with other sensors like an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and a digital compass. Software-wise, the phone runs almost a stock version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. And finally powering this device all up is a large 4100mAh non-user removable battery. This coupled with the HD display will be enough to get users the claimed two days worth of battery life without any issues.
