Nokia 5: Price, Specs and Availability
Paramount Electronics, the official distributor of Nokia smartphones in Nepal recently launched their mid their smartphone, the Nokia 5 here. The phone which is priced at Rs 21,350 packs some interesting hardware and software choices. Let us take a deeper look at the phone and see what it offers for that price.
The Nokia 5 packs a 5.2 inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 282PPI. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and is edged out by a 2.5D glass. Encased in a metallic shell, the phone looks and feels very premium. Under the hood, the Nokia 5 packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor along with the Adreno 505 GPU. The processor is backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The internal memory can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. The phone also does support dual nano sim-cards and is 4G capable.
In the camera department, the Nokia 5 packs a f/2.0 13MP rear camera along with a dual-tone LED flash. The phone also has a f/2.0 8MP front camera for all your selfies. The Nokia 5 also comes equipped with a fingerprint scanner embedded into its home key. Other sensors include an accelerometer, compass, proximity sensor and a gyroscope. Software-wise, the phone runs almost a stock version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. And finally powering this device all up is a 3000mAh non-user removable battery. This coupled with the HD display will be enough to get users a full day worth of battery life without any issues.
The Nokia 5 is available in the major mobile stores around Pako, New Road in the Matt Black, Silver color options. The 720p display is a disappointment but the overall phone is quite impressive.
