Nokia 6 (2018) unveiled in China
Nokia has launched the new generation of their popular mid-tier smartphone, the Nokia 6 (2018). The newer phone comes with some better specs, camera, and a minor visual change. That said, let’s take a deeper look at what the phone has to offer for a price of around $230.
The Nokia 6 (2018) packs a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 403PPI. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and is edged out by a 2.5D glass. Encased in a metallic shell with chamfered edges, the phone looks and feels very premium. Under the hood, the Nokia 6 (2018) packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor along with the Adreno 508 GPU. The processor is backed by 4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage. The internal memory can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. The phone also does support dual sim-cards but only at the expense of the micro-sd card slot.
In the camera department, the Nokia 6 (2018) packs a f/2.0 16MP rear camera along with a dual-tone LED flash. The phone also has a f/2.0 8MP front camera for all your selfies. The Nokia 6 (2018) also comes equipped with a fingerprint scanner embedded into its back panel. Other sensors include an accelerometer, compass, proximity sensor and a gyroscope. Software-wise, the phone runs almost a stock version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. And finally powering this device all up is a 3000mAh non-user removable battery. This will be enough to get users a full day worth of battery life on a single charge without any issues.
