Nokia 7 launched in China

Nokia, in an event in China, recently launched their latest premium mid-tier smartphone, the Nokia 7. The phone is the middle ground between the Nokia 6 and the Nokia 8. Here is all you need to know about the phone including the $400 price tag that it comes with.

The Nokia 7 packs a 5.2 inch Full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 424PPI. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and is edged out by a 2.5D glass. Encased in a metallic chassis and a glass back, the phone looks and feels very premium. Under the hood, the Nokia 7 packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor along with the Adreno 508 GPU. The processor is backed by 4/6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The internal memory can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. The phone also does supportĀ dual sim-cards but only at the expense of the micro-sd card slot. The Nokia 7 also is IP54 certified giving users some level of dust and splash protection.

In the camera department, the Nokia 7 packs a Carl Zeiss branded f/1.8 16MP rear camera along with a dual-tone LED flash. The phone also has a f/2.0 5MP front camera for all your selfies. Nokia, with this phone, is also introducingĀ “bothies” meaning you can take pictures with both the front and the rear camera simultaneously. The Nokia 7 also comes equipped with a fingerprint scanner embedded into its glass back panel. Other sensors include an accelerometer, compass, proximity sensor and a gyroscope. Software-wise, the phone runs almost a stock version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. And finally powering this device all up is a 3000mAh non-user removable battery. This will be enough to get users a full day worth of battery life without any issues.
