Ola S1 Air introductory price extended till 15 August in India; Ola S1 discontinued
Ola Electric has announced that the company is extending the S1 Air’s promotional price (INR 1.10 lakh) until 15 August for the Indian market. Due to an overwhelming response and more than 50,000 reservations, the company’s CEO, Bhavish Agarwal, announced on social media that they would extend this special price to all potential customers until noon on 15 August 2023. The company has also made a major change in its lineup with the discontinuation of its mid-variant model–the S1.

Design
The S1 Air gets a conventional electric scooter design. The e-scooter’s front fascia features two projector headlamps with DRLs and sleek LED turn indicators. At the rear, the scooter gets LED tail lights and a grab rail. The S1 Air comes with a flat unibody seat and boot storage of 34-litre. Furthermore, the scooter has been offered in six different colours: Anthracite grey, Coral red, Liquid silver, Porcelain white, Neo mint, and Midnight blue.
The e-scooter comes equipped with a massive TFT touchscreen display and 3GB RAM, an octa-core processor, WiFi, 4G connectivity, geo-fencing, and Bluetooth features. The e-scooter’s other notable features are its side-stand alert, electric start, reverse mode, electronic steering control lock, cruise control, riding modes (Eco, Sport, Normal), hill-hold function, OTA updates, and remote boot lock/unlock, among others.
Powertrain
The S1 Air comes equipped with a 3 kWh battery pack (IP67-rated) and a hub motor that generates a peak power of 4.5 kW. For charging, the e-scooter gets fully-charged in 5 hours and on a single charge, the scooter provides a range of 125 km–according to ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India). Furthermore, the scooter can speed up to 90 kmph and accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 3.3 seconds.

The S1 Air’s suspension duties are handled by twin telescopic front forks and a dual-shock suspension at the rear. For braking, the bike gets a CBS (Combined Braking System) which comprises drum brakes on both ends.
Ola S1 Air price in Nepal
Ola has offered the new S1 Air at an introductory price of INR 1.10 lakh in India. Although there is no official news regarding its launch yet, the fans can expect it to cost around Rs 3.60 lakh here.
