Piaggio three wheeler get a BS-6 updates
Piaggio Group said that they have started their production of three wheeler in India, it is also confirmed that these three wheeler will be rolling in the market with BS-6 emission norms. Piaggio is one of the first company in upgrading the entire range of three wheeler to the new emission norms.

The CEO of Piaggio India Diego Graffi said, “We are delighted to be the first manufacturer in India to offer three-wheelers compliant with the new norms and to be BS-VI ready with our entire product range. We began preparations well ahead of time and so today we are excellently placed for the transition from BS-IV to BS-VI.”
For the powering the three wheeler it has a 599 cc engine and 5 speed gearbox and a new aluminum clutch. Similarly, the petrol version is powered by a 197 cc that can produce 10 bhp power and 17.6 Nm of peak torque, along with a fuel efficiency of 29.43 kmpl. In India Piaggio has offered the widest range of vehicles. Currently Piaggio India offers three models : the Ape City, the Ape Auto+, and the Ape City HT. The company has planned to launch these three wheeler in 14th June 2020, so we will get to know about it when it launches.
