White Lotus Motors Pvt. Ltd., the sole authorized distributor for Pure EV electric scooters in Nepal, has commenced the sales of their latest product, Etrance NEO. The fifth model from the IIT Hyderabad-incubated Startup Pure EV entered Nepal some time ago and now it is up for sale with attractive pricing of Rs 2,29,000.
The company has further informed about the finance facilities of providing loan and financing schemes from Nabil Bank, NIC Asia, and Machhapuchhre Bank for customers who wish to buy Pure EV scooters in Nepal.
With one after another EV brands entering the Nepalese market, we can say that consumers are gradually digesting the range of EV products in the country. Pure EV offers Etrance NEO with a 2.2 kW Peak BLDC Motor that runs on a 2.5 kW patented Lithium-ion battery pack. The brand claims the said electric scooter can sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in 5 seconds and most importantly, it also offers a 120 km driving range on a single charge in the Eco Mode. They further claim the scooter to have customized with faster pickup and longer range and has been developed targeting a younger consumer base.
The interesting facts don’t just end here, Pure EV’s Etrance NEO comes equipped with a ‘regenerative charging system’ which simply implies that the scooter’s battery charges itself when the brakes are applied. The braking duties of the electrical scooter are handled by disc brakes upfront and drum brakes on the rear. Etrance NEO features a 4-inch LED display upfront indicating speed, range, battery levels among others, LED lighting systems, and an anti-theft locking system.
