Renault India silently launches BS-6 Duster
Renault has silently launched the new BS-6 compliant Duster Facelift in India at the starting price of INRs 8.49 lakhs – INRs 9.99 lakhs. The company had announced that the diesel model of Renault Duster will not be updated to BS-6 engine.

With the new upgrade, Duster will now be available in 1.5 petrol engine and three variants : RXE, RXS and RXZ (Top).
The BS-6 Renault Duster is powered by a 1.5 litre petrol engine which can give max power of 106 PS and 142 Nm of torque. It is paired with 6 speed manual gearbox. With the implementation of emission norms the new Duster is not offered with CVT transmission and AWD options.

No specific changes has been made with the looks of the Duster besides that it has been offered with new front grille with chrome finish, projector headlamp with LED DRL, new front bumper, front and rear skid plate, roof rails, 16 inch Everest diamond cut alloy wheel and plastic cladding on the back door to give the facelift duster a new look. Inside, it gets different upholstery, new steering wheel, and an updated 7.0-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice recognition, EcoGuide, and an Arkamys sound system. Safety features such as dual airbags, ABS, parking sensors, and speed warning are offered as standard on all variants.

In terms of safety features it has an anti-lock braking system, electronic breakforce distribution. In addition, the car has features like airbags, seatbelt reminders for drivers and passenger. With the launch it will be competing with Hyundai Venue, Nissan Kicks, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Ford Ecosport.
