Ripple Artifact Pro from Nepali Brand Launched as a Gaming Laptop

A Nepal-based OEM laptop brand Ripple has launched the latest model named ‘Ripple Artifact Pro’. The brand has earlier released a gaming laptop ‘Ripple Artifact’ in the market as well and now has extended its product portfolio with the latest addition.

The Ripple brand has stepped into a competitive market that is heavily dominated by Chinese tech manufacturing companies. However, the brand has tried to bring tough competitors into the market to go head-to-head with the leading brand in Nepal with their effort to bring top-notch specs and reasonable pricing. The Nepali brand is involved in assembling various parts of a computer to provide additional options for the consumers in Nepal.


The Ripple brought ‘Ripple Artifact’ as their first model in the country that is now followed by the ‘Ripple Artifact Pro’. Both offerings from the firm come as customizable laptops for the users i.e users have a choice to upgrade or downgrade the device. The ‘Ripple Artifact Pro’ runs on an AMD Ryzen 7 4800H processor—a high-performance 45W TDP CPU and AMD based on the Zen 2 microarchitecture. The base clock is at 2.9GHz and the silicon can hit up to 4.2GHz of max boost clock. Now about the graphics card, the device comes with NVIDIA’s RTX 2060 Max-P and RTX 3060 variant. The former is paired with 6GB of GDDR6 VRAM while the latter is still limited for precise information. The Max-P (Max Performance) version of RTX 2060 will be consuming more power and delivering enhanced level performance. The cooling system in the device is handled by Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut thermal paste and features 2 exhausts on the side and 2 exhausts at the back. As claimed by the firm, the fans installed in their laptops can run at a speed of up to 8000 RPM.

The storage option for the Ripple Artifact Pro comes as 8GB or 16GB of DDR4 RAM. Both variants are paired with an M.2 2280 256GB SSD. Meanwhile, users have options to add 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, or 1TB HDD for Rs 5,000 each. The connectivity options for the device include WiFi 802.11 ax and Bluetooth v5.0. Powering the device will be a 62Wh Li-Po cell which is compatible with a power supply of 180 watts. The ports available in the device are a single USB 2.0 Type-A, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, 2 Mini DisplayPort 1.4 (G-SYNC compatible), 1 HDMI 2.0, 1 headphone out, 1 mic-in, 1 RJ45, and a card reader.
