Rumor: Gionee S11 to launch soon in Nepal
Gionee, after the launch of the M7 Power, is gearing up to launch the Gionee S11 here in Nepal. According to the recent rumor, the phone is expected to be unveiled very soon. According to Phones In Nepal, the S11 is speculated to be priced around Rs 30,000. They also give a disclaimer that nothing is official and to take the news with a grain of salt. That aside, let’s take a closer look at the phone and see what it has to offer.
The Gionee S11 packs a 5.99-inch Full HD (2160*1080) IPS display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a pixel density of 403PPI. This helps Gionee pack a phablet-sized display in a relatively small body. The Gionee S11 comes encased in a glass and metal shell which not only looks good but also feels premium to the touch. Under the hood, the phone packs an octa-core MediaTek MT6763T Helio P23 processor along with the Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. The processor is backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. Besides that, the phone also supports dual-sim cards and is 4G capable.
In the camera side of things, the Gionee S11 packs a dual-camera set up made by a 16MP and a 5MP rear camera accompanied by a LED flash. At the front too, there is a dual-camera setup made by a 16MP and an 8MP sensor. Software-wise, the phone runs Android 7.1 Nougat with Gionee’s own custom skin, Amigo UI 5.0 layered on top of it. Just sitting below the rear cameras is a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s back panel. Other sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, compass, and a gyroscope. And finally, powering the device all up is a 3410mAh non-user removable battery. This will be more than enough to get users a day worth of battery life on a single charge without any issues.
The Gionee S11 looks to be a great mid-tier smartphone that has a lot to offer including a near bezel-less design, quad-camera set up, and some powerful internals. The phone is rumored to launch soon in Nepal, so stay tuned! For more news on the Gionee S11, keep reading Hamrobazaar Blog.
