Sajha Launches Electric Buses in Nepal!
Sajha Yatayat launched trial of electric buses in Kathmandu on Tuesday. Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli launched environment and disable friendly electric bus. After launching the electric buses, Prime Minister Oli travelled to PMO’s office in Singha Durbar by the bus. The bus has facilities like CC Camera, AC and mobile chargers. If the trial is successful, Nepal government will operate additional electric buses including these five in Lumbini International Airport and other cities as well. The bus has 19 seats and can accommodate 35 passengers. Purchased with a Chinese company at Rs 20 million rupees each, two buses have already been brought to Kathmandu while three others are in process for arriving.
