Samsung has launched their latest mid-tier smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy J7 2018. As per the name, the phone is the follow up to the last year’s Galaxy J7. It brings a marginal change compared to its predecessor in form of a slight design tweak. The rest stays the same! Let’s take a deeper look at the phone and find out what it has to offer.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 2018 packs a 5.5 inch HD AMOLED display with a pixel density of 267PPI. This phone comes encased in a metallic shell which gives it a premium look and feels. Under the hood, the J7 2018 packs an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor along with the Mali T830MP2 GPU. The processor is backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The internal memory can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. The phone also supports dual sim-cards and is 4G capable.
In the camera department, the J7 2018 packs a f/1.7 13MP rear camera along with a LED flash. The phone also has a f/1.9 13MP front camera with a front flash for all your selfies. The J7 2018 also comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s home button. Software-wise, the phone runs Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung’s own custom skin overlaid on top of it. And finally powering this device all up is a 3600mAh user-removable battery. This will be enough to get users a full day worth of battery life without any issues.
