A few weeks earlier, Samsung launched its Galaxy M32 under its highly popular M series in India and now the smartphone has been made available in Nepal. The Samsung Galaxy M32 is launched in Nepal with an introductory price of Rs 24,999. The M32 comes as a successor to the widely accepted model Galaxy M31, and as an addition to the budget smartphone segment in Nepal.
The Samsung Galaxy M32 offers two variants 4/64GB and 6/128GB in the Nepali market, and it comes with excellent features for a budget mid-range segment. The main highlight of the device is its battery pack and the amazing screen offered by Samsung. The device sports a Super AMOLED display for a better experience on video, games, and movies. Similarly, the battery is super long-lasting, and the camera is improved for better performance. The South Korean tech giant has offered best-in-class features with Galaxy M32 that will help prove itself to be a promising competitor in its segment.
For the display, the Samsung Galaxy M32 sports a 6.4 inches Super AMOLED screen, having a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone also features a slim bezel on the screen that has a pixel density of 411ppi. The refresh rate of the screen is 90Hz and the brightness stands at 800 nits. Meanwhile, the screen-to-body ratio measures 83.5%. With the given information running games and waiting videos on the screen should provide a fine experience.
The dimensions of the device measure 160 x 74 x 9 mm. It is worth noting that the device weighs just 196 g even though it has a massive battery pack. Also, the device’s body and the frame are made up of plastic (polycarbonate material).
Moving on to the design language of the Samsung Galaxy M32 comes with a vertical line design at the rear. The rear also features a quad rear camera setup and Samsung branding on the bottom. The aesthetics look quite nice and it seems to be almost fit for a one-hand operation. The power button of the device is mounted on the side, just below the volume rockers and the button also works as a fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone. The face-recognition unlocking feature is always there. At the top of the screen, there is an infinity-U notch for the selfie camera placed centrally. Even though smartphone manufacturers have moved on from the choice of the water-drop notch, Samsung has chosen to stand with the very option for this time too. The device further features a headphone jack, speakers, and a charging port.
Powring the Samsung Galaxy M32 will be an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor. The GPU comes as a Mali-G52 MC2. The device comes paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and you get 128GB internal memory that is further expandable using a dedicated microSD card slot and two sim trays. And finally, the device runs on the Samsung One UI version built over the Android 11 operating system.
The Galaxy M32 has a quad-camera set up at the back; a 64MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.8; an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2; a 5MP macro camera with an aperture of f/2.2; and another 5MP depth camera with an aperture of f/2.4. To mention a few features of the camera, it has an HDR mode, digital zoom, auto flash, touch to focus, etc. Similarly, the front camera comes as a 20MP camera with an aperture of f/2.2. That being said, the Galaxy M32’s predecessor (Samsung Galaxy M31) was offered a 32MP selfie camera. Additionally, the Galaxy M32 is good enough to record 4K videos at 30fps while the latest entry, Galaxy M32 will only be capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps, which, in both terms, are relatively a downgrade for the new entry by Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy M32 is powered by a massive 6000mAh non-replaceable battery and supports fast charging through a USB Type C port. Inside the box, there is a 15W power adapter but the device still supports 25W fast charging. The charger in the box should take around two hours to charge the device from empty to full. The battery should be good enough to work for at least a day or a day and a half if the usage is relatively low. Samsung has also tagged the Galaxy M32 as a ‘binge monster’ considering the power of the battery. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is offered, which might be a relief for most people, and it comes equipped with Dolby Atmos audio. Finally, the connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, 4G VoLTE, USB OTG, and GPS with GLONASS.
