Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime launched in India
Samsung has recently unveiled their latest mid-tier smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro in India. The phone is the follow up to last years Galaxy On7 Pro. So what are the new improvements the phone offers for a now tagged price of Rs INR 12,990 (3GB) and INR 14,990 (4GB) compared to its predecessor? Well, let’s take a deeper look at the phone and find out for ourselves.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro packs a 5.5 inch Full HD PLS display with a pixel density of 401PPI. The display is covered by a 2.5D glass giving users a more ergonomic feel. Under the hood, the On7 Pro packs an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor along with a Mali- T830 GPU. The processor is backed by 3 or 4GB of RAM and 32 0r 64GB of internal storage respectively. The internal memory can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. The phone also supports dual sim-cards and is 4G capable.
In the camera side of things, the On7 Pro packs a f/1.9 13MP rear camera along with a LED flash. The phone also has a f/1.9 13MP front camera with a front flash for all your selfies. This inclusion will make taking selfies in less than ideal lighting situations much easier! The On7 Pro also comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the phones home button. Software-wise, the phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Samsung’s own custom skin- Samsung Experience overlaid on top of it. And finally powering this device all up is a 3300mAh non-user removable battery. This will be enough to get users a full day worth of battery life on a single charge without any issues.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime looks to be a great mid-tier smartphone. It has all the right specs in check including a capable camera set, premium build, and some powerful internals.
