Design

The slim laptop by Samsung comes as a Mystic Black beauty and for those users who tend to carry their laptop everywhere they go along with having a gaming enthusiast, this will be the perfect option. The clear advantage for the gamers remains to be an option by the firm to expand the memory or storage options down the road as the device is claimed to be shipped with spare SO-DIMM and PCIe slots for just that purpose.

The device comes as a full-metal body and dimension wise it measures 356.6 x 229.1 x 17.7mm while the overall weight stands around 1.85kg.

Display

The Galaxy Book Odyssey will come with a 15.6-inch 1080p TFT LCD screen which will be decent enough to let you enjoy any video, games, or pictures on it. However, it is worth noting that the latest gaming laptop gets an LCD screen while its sibling release at the same time, the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 are equipped with an OLED display.

Ports and other features

The Galaxy Book Odyssey gets a regular slew of ports namely, 2 USB-C ports and 3 USB 3.2 ports (keyboards, mice, and headsets), HDMI port, RJ45 jack (ethernet), one combined audio jack, a security slot, and a microSD card slot.

Few more features of the Galaxy Book Odyssey include a 720p HD webcam, a fingerprint reader on the power key, a pro keyboard, and a Dolby Atmos sound among others.
