Seres 3 set to be launched at the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2023 in Nepal
Seres, a Chinese electric vehicle brand, is set to debut in Nepal with the launch of its new electric SUV, the Seres 3, at the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2023. MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, a subsidiary of MAW Group, has taken on the responsibility of being the sole authorised distributor of Seres electric vehicles in Nepal. The new Seres 3 will be powered by a 52.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that will offer a maximum range of 405 km on a single charge.
Design and features
The new Seres 3 Will get a robust and sporty design. The front fascia features LED projector headlamps and a robust grille, and on the rear, the EV gets LED tail lights. In terms of dimensions, the Seres 3 will measure 4385 mm in length, 1850 mm in width, and 1650 mm in height; it has a wheelbase of 2655 mm and a ground clearance of 180 mm. Inside, the EV gets leather-upholstered seats with seating accommodations for five people. The dashboard features a flat-bottom steering wheel with mounted controls, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument console, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The company hasn’t revealed the Seres 3’s features yet, but it might come with notable features such as six airbags, a lane-departure warning alarm, hill-descent control, hill ascend control, auto-hold, a sunroof, a 360-degree camera, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), a tire pressure monitoring system, 18-inch alloy wheels, a high-strength body, and Bluetooth connectivity, among others.
Powertrain
The Seres 3 will be powered by the 53.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack paired with a 99 kW electric motor that generates a peak power of 160 hp and a peak torque of 300 Nm. For charging, the EV takes around 9 hours to get fully charged via a 6.6 kW charger, and on a full charge, the EV provides a range of up to 405 km. Furthermore, the EV will also be offered with three driving modes: Eco, Comfort, and Sport.

Seres 3 price in Nepal
MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, the sole authorised distributor of Seres electric vehicles in Nepal, has planned to launch the Seres 3 at the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2023. Although there is no official news regarding its pricing yet, fans can expect it to cost around Rs 60–90 lakh here. The EV will serve as a rival to the MG ZS EV and the BYD Atto 3.
