SKODA for the first time reveals Enyaq iV’s interior

SKODA’s full electric vehicle Enyaq iV get its interior revealed, the Enyaq iV was announced to make its global debut in September 01, 2020. The Czech carmaker already revealed the exterior of the SUV with a green camouflage and now the first ever sketch of its interior.

“The Enyaq iV benefits from the MEB platform’s long wheelbase,which- in relation to the body dimensions – offers an exceptionally spacious interior,” Norbert Weber, Head of Interior Design at the manufacturer, explains. “The flat floor, which lacks the central tunnel we find in vehicles with combustion engines, also contributes to this. We have used this conceptual feature to make the interior visually even airier and to create a feeling of even more space. This can be seen, for example, on the new dashboard, which is arranged over several levels.”

The interior of Enyaq iV seems to be inspired from the Skoda Octavia, we can see in sketch that it has been offered with wide 13 inch infotainment system. Skoda states the middle section of the multilayer dashboard is inspired by the Czech brand’s butterfly grille.

The seat upholstery on select variants is said to be made out of 40 percent wool while the rest is a blend of polyester from recycled PET bottles. Plenty of customization options will be offer with various predefined packages offering different themes and features. Some noted features in the Enyaq iV include an augmented reality head-up display, connected car technology, and cruise control.

The interior of the ŠKODA ENYAQ iV is modelled on modern living environments and uses natural, sustainably produced and recycled materials. The new design concept of the ENYAQ iV combines spaciousness and a ‘lounge feeling’aswell.

The engine specification on this new EV has already been revealed by the company. For more stay tuned.
