Skoda Kodiaq GT Coupe Leaked

A first set of images of what looks like a production-spec version of the Skoda Kodiaq GT coupé has surfaced online. The company is now expected to debut the Kodiaq GT SUV-coupé at the upcoming Chengdu Motor show in China. Skoda has been persistent in keeping the Kodiaq GT a China-only model; however, this model could make it to other markets, as well. The Kodiaq GT is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that will be sold in 180hp or 220hp states of tune. There will be a seven-speed DCT on offer for both engine options. Skoda will offer 4WD on higher trims. As far as equipment goes, it will be at par with the seven-seat variant. The Skoda Kodiaq GT’s 4,634mm length makes it 63mm shorter than the standard Kodiaq. It also gets a distinctive coupé-like roof which gives it a unique identity. This is the first four-door SUV-coupé by Skoda and will sit above the standard Kodiaq in the brand’s global line-up.
