SKODA officially reveals its Vision IN in India

Skoda has finally revealed the Vision IN concept in India, along with that the Skoda Auto Volkswagen has showcased the new Volkswagen Taigun compact SUV. Well the Vision IN and the Taigun are the first model to be built on new MQB A0 IN platform.

Having a same platform it is also powered by 1.5 litre TSI, 4 Cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 150 PS of power and max torque of 250 NM, besides that it is expected to accelerate 0 – 100 kmph in just 8.7 seconds and 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.

Inside the Skoda Vision IN it gets all premioum features and design, it has a 2 large a 12.3 inch touchscreen display with modern connectivity and one with digital instrument cluster options, also it has a virtual cock pit and a shift by wire technology. It has a layered dashboard and a thin chrome bar that extends up to the rear.

The Vision IN SUV is majorly inspired by the Kamiq SUV, but compared to the Kamiq it has a bolder and more upright front. Up to the front it has been equipped with its signature chrome Skoda grille, flanked by split projector headlights and the angular bumper. It gets a large air intakes and three slot skid plates and a plastic cladding all around the body. With Kamiq inspired looks it gets a higher ground clearance and a tougher designs. At the rear end it has a L-shaped LED tail lights and C-shaped light cluster.

With the dimension it has a long wheelbase i.e. of 2,671 mm and length of 4,256mm and height of 1,589 mm. It features a 19 inch alloywheels fitted with a 235/45 R19 tyres. The new Vision IN SUV will be competiting with Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos after it launches in the auto-market.
