Suzuki pulls the wrap off the GSX-8S at EICMA

Suzuki Motor Corporation, a Japanese multinational corporation, has unveiled its middleweight naked sport bike–the GSX-8S–at EICMA 2022. The all-new GSX-8S comes with new design elements, features, and mechanical specifications.

Design and features 

The GSX-8S measures 2115 mm in length, 775 mm in width, and 1105 mm in height. The bike’s aggressive front fascia features LED headlights and position lamps, and at the rear, the bike gets LED tail lights. The other notable design elements are its split seats, a muscular tank, and underslung exhaust. Furthermore, the bike will be offered in three colour options: Pearl Cosmic blue, Pearl Tech white, Glass Sparkle black.

The naked bike comes equipped with notable features such as 5-inch TFT display, Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS), bi-directional quickshifter, Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS), and low RPM assist, among others.

Powertrain

The GSX-8S is powered by a 776 cc, four-stroke, two-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, FI engine. For transmission, the engine comes mated to a six-speed constant-mesh gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter. The naked bike gets a 14-litre fuel tank and provides a WMTC mileage of 23.8 kmpl. Furthermore, the bike is offered in three riding modes: Active, Basic, and Comfort.

Suzuki GSX-8S price in Nepal

Although the Suzuki GSX-8S is unlikely to be launched in Nepal, in case of its launch, the fans can expect it to come at a price of Rs 16.05 lakh here.
