Suzuki launches the Avenis 125 in Nepal

VG Suzuki, the authorised distributor of Suzuki scooters in Nepal, has launched its new scooter–the Avenis 125–at Rs 2.99 lakh. The Avenis is offered in three variants: the Ride-connect edition, the Race edition, and the Standard edition. The Avenis 125 is the company’s latest addition to the lineup of the Access 125 and the Burgman 125. 

Design and Features

The Avenis 125’s design is inspired from that of the Access 125; but the new model gets more chiselled bodywork which makes it look sportier. The front fascia features apron-mounted headlights with DRLs and its cowl handlebar is integrated with halogen turn indicators. The side profile gets a lot of cuts and creases that emphasises its muscular looks. And at the rear, it gets LED tail lights. 

The scooter gets a fully-digital instrument console with bluetooth connectivity that provides accessibility to the user such as SMS alerts, call, Whatsapp alerts, phone battery display, and  turn-by-turn navigation. 

The scooter’s other notable features are its in-built USB charging port, side-stand interlock, a kill switch, and 21.8-litre underseat storage, among others.

Engine and Performance

The Avenis 125 is powered by a 124 cc, air-cooled, FI, 2-valve engine that produces a maximum power of 9.2 hp at 6750 rpm and a maximum torque of 10 Nm at 5500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a CVT (Continuously Variable Technology). The scooter can speed up to 91 kmph and it can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 10 seconds.

The scooter gets a fuel tank capacity of 5.2-litre and it provides an average mileage of 45-50 kmpl.

Suzuki has offered the Avenis 125 in four colour options, at a starting price of Rs 2.99 lakh. the Avenis 125 in Nepal. The scooter competes with the likes of the TVS Ntorq 125, Yamaha RayZR, and Honda Grazia in Nepal.
