TATA Altroz gets 5 stars in Global NCAP

The new premium hatchback by Tata Altroz has been able to receive obtain 5-star in Adult safety rating from Global New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP).

In an official statement, the company said that, the Altroz also had received a 3-star child occupant safety rating, was crash tested for the front and side impacts. Global NCAP has carried out more than 35 car crash tests and their respective safety assessments.

The Tata Altroz is designed to provide a high class protection, it is equipped with standard safety features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and corner stability control, speed alert system, seatbelt reminder and ISOFIX anchorages. This safety features has made it a second made in India car to receive a full five star rating from Global NCAP, first being the Tata Nexon. The Altroz has secured an impressive 16.13 points out of 17 in adult occupant protection. For child occupancy, the Altroz secured 3 stars with 29 points out of 49.
