The All-New 2020 Honda City Launched in Nepal
The 5th Generation 2020 Honda City has been launched in Nepal by Honda Cars Nepal. The new City will be available in the ZX trim in both manual and CVT trim priced at Rs 63.90 Lakh and Rs 69.90 Lakh respectively.
The Honda City is powered by1.5L i-VTEC DOHC engine with VTC in Petrol that comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT that makes 121 bhp of peak power and 145 Nm of torque. The measurement of this model; a length of 4,549 mm and a width of 1,748 mm make it the widest sedan in the segment. The wheelbase is still the same as that of the 4th-gen model, 2,600 mm. Additionally, the City gets a 3-box silhouette with a long bonnet and a prominently designed boot. Key exterior highlight feature includes Full LED headlamps, Z- Shaped wrap-around LED Tail lamp.
The interior of the car flaunts a completely new dashboard layout focussing on the spacious and comfortable cabin. The black and beige dual-tone treatment in the interior design gives the atheistic vibe which Honda named ‘Ambitious Beauty’. The high-tech feature includes equipment such as a 20.3 cm Advanced Touchscreen Display Audio, Seamless Smartphone Connectivity with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Weblink, One-Touch Electric Sunroof among others. Similarly, it is also equipped with Alexa remote capability, being the first car with the feature among others and Next Generation Honda Connect with Telematics Control Unit (TCU).
Safety duties of this beauty are handled by 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability assists, LaneWatch camera, hill-start assist, 17.7 cm HD full-color TFT meter with G-meter, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with Agile Handling Assist (AHA), and 3-point seatbelts for all 5 seats with pre-tensioner and load limiter, and many more.
