The budget friendly Meizu M6 launched
Meizu, a Chinese OEM, has recently launched their budget-friendly smartphone the Meizu M6 in the global market. The phone is priced at $105 and $135 for the 2GB and 3GB RAM variant respectively. The phone offers a lot for the price including a great metallic build, capable camera set and a fingerprint scanner. Here is all you need to know about the budget-friendly Meizu M6.
The Meizu M6 packs a 5.2 inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 282PPI. The display is edged out by a 2.5D glass giving users a seamless experience. Under the hood, the M6 packs a 1.3Ghz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor along with the Mali T860 GPU. The processor is backed by 2/3GB of RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage. The inbuilt memory can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 128GB. The phone also supports dual sim cards but only at the expense of the memory card slot.
In the camera department, the M6 packs a f/2.2 13MP rear camera accompanied by a LED flash. The phone also has a f/2.0 8MP front camera for all your selfies. Software-wise, the phone runs Flyme UI 6.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner embedded into its home button. Other sensors include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope and a digital compass. And finally powering this device all up is a 3070mAh non-user removable battery. This paired with the lower-res display will be enough to get users through a full day of heavy usage without any problems.
The Meizu M6 is a great budget smartphone that offers a lot of value. The phone was recently launched in China but chances are the phone will not make its way to Nepal. It is such a shame as it would have catered superbly towards the Nepalese market. That being said, let us hope Meizu Nepal realizes this and soon brings this phone to Nepal.
