Toyota drives in with a new Rush SUV and Avanza MPV

Toyota is coming with a new bigger compact SUV , the Rush and a midsize MPV, the Avanza. Both these astonishing vehicles will be based on monocoque platforms to make them eventually lighter and more fuel efficient than in comparision to the Innova & Fortuner. The SUV and mid size MPV may offer 7 seats with a BS6-Complaint 1.5 l petrol engine to power.

It makes 105 PS of power and 136 NM of torque mated to a 4 speed automatic. SUV rush comprises of 1.5l engine with four cyinder with DOHC called 2NR-VE. The Rush SUV includes 6 airbags , rear cross -traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, hill start assist and active safety features like pre-collision braking and lane departure warning.

Avanza a seven seater MPV powered by same 2NR-VE engine as in Toyota Rush. This compact SUV sit on same segment as the Vitara Brezza, its hybrid solution will be based on lighter uni body architecture which will help to meet the upcoming stringent corporate average fuel economy.

The Rush SUV will compete with JEEP COMPASS, and it will be priced between 15 lakhs – 20 lakhs whereas Avanza will be less expensive that is around 13 lakhs – 16 lakhs. As these two amazing vehicles are on verge of launching so we are expecting it sooner to be seen in Nepal.
