Toyota’s BS-6 complaint Innova Crysta is soon to be launched in Nepalese market which has already been launched in India successfully, previous Innova Crysta was available in 2.8 litre diesel engine but now it comes with a 2.4 litre diesel engine and 2.7 litre petrol engine with both automatic and manual transmission options with various variants. With the effective launch of it the 2.8 litre desel engine is expected to discontinued.
As implication of BS-6 the Innova Crysta’s price is expected to hike, the starting price of Toyota is INRs 16.14 lakhs – INRS 23.02 lakhs (Indian currency) in Diesel variants where as the prices petrol variants starts from INRs 15.36 lakhs – INRs 21.34 lakhs.
The 2.4-litre diesel engine produces 150 PS of power and 343 Nm of torque. The petrol 2.7-litre engine develops 166 PS of power and 245 Nm of torque. Both engines come mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Toyota is also offering Vehicle Stability Control(VSC), Hill Assist Control(HAC) & Emergency Brake Signal(EBS) as standard across all variants.
