Toyota Rush Scores 5 Stars on Safety Test!
ASEAN NCAP has published results for its latest round of crash tests, which included the SUV made for South East Asian markets, the seven-seat SUV was awarded five stars in the crash tests.
The Rush scored an overall 84.03 out of 100, performing well in adult occupancy protection, child occupancy protection and in safety assist systems. The safety features on the model include six airbags, ABS, EBD, traction control, stability control and hill-start assist.

In terms of the exteriors, the Rush has got chrome slatted grille, aggressive air dam with dedicated slots for the fog lamps. The Subtle use of cladding all around the car and healthy 220mm ground clearance bode well for the overall styling. Inside the cabin, the proceedings are dominated by dual-tone interiors, a large 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and six airbags. The Rush is powered by a 1.5-liter petrol motor putting out 100 BHP along with 134 Nm of max torque. The motor is coupled with a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic gearbox, both sending the power to the rear wheels of the car.
