Adding the thrill to the Nepalese enthusiast, now, the Japanese automaker has released a teaser ahead of its launch in India, highlighting some of its major features. The new Toyota Fortuner only gets limited updates from its predecessor regarding design and interiors; however, the cosmetics makeover does enhance the freshness of its appearance.
Major updates of the Fortuner remains on the exterior; for which it flaunts a larger mesh-pattern grille, redesigned LED headlights that incorporate LED DRLs, a redesigned front bumper, and a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels. Additionally, there is a new sportier-looking version ‘Legender trim’ offer on the table with an aggressive-looking black grille, a taller front bumper, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Climb into the massive cabin and you will encounter an update on the huge 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that will now come with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. Powering the facelift Fortuner will be the same BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engines. A 2.7-liter, four-cylinder petrol motor that puts out 164 bhp and 245 Nm of peak torque and a 2.8-liter, four-cylinder diesel engine that has been remapped to churn out 201 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque.
