TVS launches the 2022 Raider 125 with new upgraded features
TVS has launched its updated entry-level bike–the Raider 125–in India. The 2022 Raider 125 comes with new added features such as a TFT display and the brand’s ‘SmartXonnect’ technology. The Raider 125 comes at a price of INR 99,990.
Design and features
The new Raider 125 gets the same naked street design as its predecessors. The bike comes with an animalistic LED headlamp, a signature LED tail lamp, sporty tank with scoops, wide split-seats, grab rails, and side slung exhaust. The bike also gets a 3D TVS logo on the fuel tank and a Raider logo on the side panel. Furthermore, the bike is offered in two colour options: Wicked black and Fiery yellow.

The new Raider 125 comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT display that is compatible with the brand’s ‘SmartXonnect’ technology. The technology connects the rider’s smartphone to the display console via Bluetooth connectivity and provides features such as voice management, call management, and navigation. Other notable features are its side-stand cut-off switch system, under-seat storage, in-built USB charger, and one-touch start, among others.
Engine:
The Raider 125 is powered by a 125cc, air-and oil-cooled, single-cylinder, SI, 3-valve engine. The engine–paired to a five-speed gearbox (in 1-N-2-3-4-5 pattern)–generates a maximum power of 11.2 hp at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 11.2 Nm at 6000 rpm. The motorcycle comes in two riding modes: Eco and Power. The Eco mode offers high mileage, meanwhile, the Power mode provides higher pickup and top speed. So in Power mode, the Raider 125 can speed up to 99 kmph and accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 5.9 seconds.

TVS has launched the 2022 Raider 125 in India and it competes with the likes of the Hero Glamour XTEC 125 and the Honda Shine SP 125. The motorcycle has been offered in two colour colour options: Wicked black and Fiery yellow–at a price of INR 99,990.
