Vespa adopting BS-6 emission norms

All the two-wheeler and four-wheeler automobiles manufacturers are upgrading towards BS-6 complaint inorder to meet the new standards as the BS6 emission norms will be enforced from the early 2020.

Along with that a news was released relating to Vespa that they have already started dispatching the 2020 Vespa SXL 150 with BS-6 complaint scooter.

The 2020 Vespa BS-6 scooter looks exactly similar to the current existing model there is no significant changes with its visual representation. Besides its visual representation it gets a semi-digital instrument console with a different background. The switchgear now comes with a mode button which can be used to toggle through the various readouts on the instrument console. 

The new model with the BS6-compliant version has 154.8cc engine, and is boosted with fuel injection technology instead of the Carburettor and it does not come with a choke. The choke valve has been replaced with a rudimentary screw to cover the hole on the apron. The updated Vespa is designed with an extra cubby hole on the front apron for storing knick-knacks. It also gets a classy little ‘150’ badge on the storage bin on the right. With the bracking system it features the same brakes and suspension as the current ones.

The BS-6 complaint 154.8cc new Vespa delivers power of 10.4 Bhp and torque of 10.4 NM respectively. The exhaust has been redesigned from the current models

The BS6 upgraded Vespa scooters will be slightly be high in its prices depending on the models but through the Indian auto new it was said that the prices were leaked prior to the official announcement with all vehicles implementing BS6 emission norms we expect BS6 complaint Vespa sooner come to Nepalese market.
