Vivo V9 officially launched in Nepal

Vivo has finally launched their highly anticipated premium mid-tier smartphone, the Vivo V9 here in Nepal. Launched in an event held at Soaltee hotel, the phone has a lot to offer. With a very inspired design language, dual camera set up and a set of powerful specs, the phone has it all. With an entry price of Rs 37,790, here are all the other things the phone brings to the table.

The Vivo V9 sports a 6.3-inch Full HD IPS panel with an almost edge to edge display. The screen comes edged out by a 2.5D glass and topped by an infamous notch. Encasing the internals of the phone is a metal chassis sandwiched by glass panels on either side. Talking about the internals, the V9 rocks a Qualcomm MSM8953-Pro Snapdragon 626 processor along with the Adreno 506 GPU. The processor is backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The memory of the phone can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB.

In the camera side of things, the V9 packs a dual camera set up made by a 16MP and a 5MP sensor. The device also packs a large 24MP front camera for all your pixel heavy selfies. The Vivo V9 packs a fingerprint scanner embedded into its back panel, just below the rear cameras. Unlike Apple, Vivo had the decency to keep the sensor! Moving on, in the software department, the phone runs Funtouch OS based on Android 8.1 Oreo. And finally juicing this device all up is a 3260mAh non-user removable battery. This without any waiver will be able to get users through a day of moderate to heavy usage of the phone.

The Vivo V9 looks to be a great premium mid-tier smartphone that has a lot to offer. Though the design inspiration is obvious, Vivo has managed to build on it and create something amazing. For anyone looking for a unique smartphone under Rs 40,000 in Nepal, the Vivo V9 is a great option.
