Volkswagen launches T-ROC SUV in India
Volkswagen T-ROC SUV has finally made it way to Indian market, the prices for the new T-ROC has been tagged at INRs 19.99 Lakhs.
The new T-ROC SUV is powered by a 1.5 L TSI EVO with ACT engine producing max power of 150 PS (110) @ 5000 – 6000rpm and peak torque of 250 Nm @1500 – 3500rpm, it can accelerate 0 – 100 kmph in just 8.4 seconds. The SUV is offered with VW’s 4Motion drivetrain system. It is paired up with a 7 speed DSG automatic gearbox.
This new SUV sits on MQB platform and will be placed above the upcoming Taigun SUV. With the overall dimensions it measures 4229mm in length, 1839 mm in width and 1672 mm in height, and sits on a 2595mm long wheelbase.
The new Volkswagen T-ROC comes with an 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Further to that it has been offered with a panoramic sunroof and dual-zone automatic climate control. Talking about the designs it has been given a coupe-styled roofs. Some of the highlights includes LED headlamps, LED DRLs, signature bumper with mounted trapezoidal DRLs and LED tail lamps, 17-inch Mayfield alloy wheels, 11.7-inch fully digital instrument cluster.
In terms of safety front, the Volkswagen T-ROC has been offered with 6 airbags, traction control, ABS, Electronic Stabilisation Programme, Electronic Differential Lock, Anti-Slip Regulation, Motor-Schleppmoment-Regelung, Hill Start Assist, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
It has been offered with 6 exterior colours : Energetic Orange, Pure White, Curcuma Yellow, Indium Grey, Ravenna Blue and a single tone Deep Black Pear. All shades come with the standard black roof.
