Volkswagen plans for upgrading it’s Vento and Polo GT

Volkswagen is planning on upgrading its popular Vento Sedan and Polo hatchback for meeting up to BS6 emission norms. The BS6 Volkswagen Vento and Volkswagen Polo GT TSI are expected to be unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo.

The BS6-compliant version of the Volkswagen Vento and Volkswagen Polo GT TSI will be offered with 1.0L TSI petrol engine generating power upto 115 PS and torque of 200 Nm. The carmaker will also phase out the Polo’s 1.5L diesel engine. It is also expected that the former Vento’s 1.2 l TSI petrol, 1.5 l TDI diesel and 1.6 l MPI petrol engine will be discontinued after the launch of BS6 new Vento and Polo. The prices of these 2 Volkswagen BS-6 is expected to hike up than the current BS-4 complaint Volkswagen.

The new BS-6 complaint 1.0 litre petrol motor is expected to be more powerful than current Vento and Polo. Currently for now the detailed information regarding Vento and Polo hasn’t been unveiled but we can hope that we get notified with the new updates in the early 2020.
