Bajra Group has launched the Wuling Air EV in Nepal at Rs 24.99 lakh. The Indonesia-based EV is developed under SAIC-GM-Wuling partnership. The new electric mini-hatchback is offered in two battery and motor options that is capable of providing a maximum range of 300 km.
The Wuling Air EV, based on the Global Small Electric Vehicle (GSEV) platform, gets a minimalistic design. The electric hatchback is offered in two lengths. The model with long wheelbase–2009 mm–measures 2974mm long, 1505 mm in width, and 1631 mm in height. And the model with a shorter wheelbase–1635 mm– measures 2599 mm long and gets the same width and height.
The Air EV’s front fascia features a brand’s logo that covers the charging port; and above the logo is a horizontal light bar that connects to the side mirrors. And at the rear, the EV gets LED tail lamps and a ‘WULING’ inscription, below the rear windshield. Furthermore, the EV is offered in five colour options: blue, green, pink, white, and yellow.
The electric hatchback comes equipped with notable features, among others, such as an AC, steering wheel with control buttons, 50:50 split rear seats, digital instrument cluster, heater, and touchscreen infotainment system, depending on the variant.
In terms of the battery capacity, the Wuling Air EV is offered in two battery options: a 17.3 kWh and a 28.4 kWh. The batteries come mated to either a 30 KW or a 50 KW permanent magnet motor. Moreover, the company claims the EV’s top speed to be 100 kmph.

EV Nepal Motors, a subsidiary of the Bajra Group, has launched the Wuling Air EV at a starting price of Rs 24.99 lakh and it goes up to Rs 29.99 lakh, depending on the variant.
