Xiaomi Mi 11 Launched in Nepal | Specs, Features and Price
Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphone was revealed on 28th December 2020 and the global version of the phone was officially launched on 8th February 2021. The successor to the Mi 10 has now made its way to Nepal. If you were waiting for Mi 11 to arrive in Nepal, yes, the smartphone has finally launched in our country even before India.
Overview
Xiaomi has offered its latest Mi 11 model with the best possible specs at an affordable price. The chipset, camera, display, everything is pretty much top-rated and flagship-worthy. The specs offered in the phone might as well, stun few customers compared to the price tag it carries. The phone is available in an 8/256GB configuration in Nepal, and it is offered in two rear panel options to choose from: an anti-glare frosted glass and vegan leather. Now, let’s get into in-depth details of Xiaomi’s new offering.
Design
The Xiaomi Mi 11 looks gorgeous in terms of its design. The front of the phone gets a clear appearance with the possibly smallest punch-hole cutout on the top left corner. However, the screen is curved from all corners which leads to an uneven visual of the bezels around the screen–it can always be ignored with the right choice of wallpaper. That being said, the curved screens are essential for smooth gestures and Mi 11 should deliver it. The rear, on the other hand, features a rectangular setup for the camera while at the bottom there is the brand identification printed. There is a small silver circle at the bottom as well, which is just there for no purpose whatsoever.

The Mi latest model has a sleek design with a lightweight feature. The dimensions of the Xiaomi Mi 11 measure 164.3 mm x 74.6 mm x 8.1 mm (height x width x thickness) in glass finish while in leather finish the dimensions are 164.3 mm x 74.6 mm x 8.6 mm. The weight of the smartphone in glass finish is 196 grams while the leather finish weighs 194 grams. It is available in three colors: Horizon Blue, Cloud White, and Midnight Gray.
Display
The Mi 11 sports a 6.81-inch DotDisplay that is crisp and smooth as butter. Xiaomi has always been providing the best displays and with the all-new Mi 11, they continue to prove the fact. It has an AMOLED panel with a WQHD+ resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 480Hz. These features of the phone make the display real quick with an amazing experience for gaming, watching videos, and regular use. It has the fastest touch response and boasts the highest brightness of any Android phone ever (peak brightness of 1500 nits). And, top of it all, the screen will be protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

Performance
The Xiaomi Mi 11 runs on Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset – Snapdragon 888. The Mi 11’s brain being the flagship chipset effectively makes this smartphone one of the fastest ones on the planet right now. It comes with 8GB and 12GB of RAM options and 128GB or 256GB internal storage options. Meanwhile, users can opt for an 8GB RAM configuration with both 128GB or 256GB internal storage. The phone is essentially the brand’s first one to use the all-new MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. All in all, this means the Mi 11 has a quicker display, quicker chip, quicker storage, and more efficient software making it a really fast phone.
Camera
The Mi 11’s camera setup on the rear is a triple camera setup. It has a 108 MP primary camera–similar to the Mi 10–with an f/1.85 aperture, a 13 MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 5 MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone’s selfie camera features a 20 MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture for selfies and video chats. Camera features on the phone include dual video, long exposure, supermoon, digital zoom, face detection, touch to focus, and auto flash, to name a few.

Other features
Powering the Mi 11 will be a massive 4,600mAh battery which juices up from a 55W fast charger or 50W Wireless Charging and a 10W reverse charging is also offered. The 55W charger is expected to juice up the battery from 0-100 percent in just 45 minutes.
Interestingly enough, the Chinese market saw the option of buying the Mi 11 with a choice of with or without the charger at the same price–something Apple would prefer to ignore. However, they offered a 55W charger with the box in the European market.
