Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite Launched in Nepal

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has been launched in Nepal at a price of Rs. 31,999. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite uses a 6.26-inch LCD, Snapdragon 660 chipset, a 12MP + 5MP rear camera, a higher-res 24MP selfie camera and a 3,350mAh battery. Unlike the Mi 8 Pro, the Mi 8 Lite has a standard fingerprint scanner on the rear. It comes in two gradient color finishes – Blue and Purple as well as Orange and Yellow.

Here’s a closer look at what the Mi 8 Lite brings to the table.

Specifications:

Processor: The Mi 8 Lite is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, which is also the same hardware that is inside Xiaomi’s Android One-backed Mi A2.

RAM: The Mi 8 Lite will be available in two RAM configurations: 4GB and 6GB.

Internal storage: While the 4GB RAM version of the Mi 8 Lite will be available with 64GB storage, the 6GB RAM version will be available with 64GB and 128GB storage.

Screen: The Mi 8 Lite comes with a 6.26-inch FHD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio.

Rear camera: The Mi 8 Lite seemingly has the same dual rear cameras as the Mi 8 SE which means that it also has a dual camera system consisting of one 12-megapixel sensor (f/1.9 aperture) and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor (f/2.0 aperture) for depth sensing.

Front camera: On the front, the Mi 8 Lite comes with a 24-megapixel camera that is also capable of shooting AI-based portrait selfies.

Software: The Mi 8 Lite runs Android Oreo-based MIUI 10.

Battery: The Mi 8 Lite has a 3,350mAh battery and supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0.
