Xiaomi Mi6 128GB variant launched in Nepal

Vatsal Impex Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of Xiaomi smartphones in Nepal has recently launched the 128GB storage variant of the Xiaomi Mi 6 here. Just some weeks ago the 64GB version of the Mi 6 was launched for Rs 54,999. Now they have launched the 128GB variant of the same phone, for Rs 3000 extra, at just Rs 57,999. This is a good bargain as the MI 6 doesn’t support memory expansion via a micro-sd card. That said, let us take a deeper dive at what the phone has to offer.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 packs a 5.15 inch Full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 428 PPI. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and is edged out by a 2.5D glass. The phone combines both glass and metal to provide a premium looking and feeling device. Under the hood, the Mi 6 packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with the Adreno 540 GPU. The processor is backed by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Sadly, the phone doesn’t support micro-sd card expansion but is dual-sim enabled.

In the camera department, the Mi 6 packs a dual-camera set up with a combination of two 12MP sensors with f/1.8 and f/2.6 aperture. The secondary camera, just like the one on the iPhone 7 Plus is used for a 2X optical zoom. There is also an 8MP front camera for all your high-res selfies. The Mi 6 also comes equipped with a fingerprint scanner embedded into its home button. Other sensors include an accelerometer, compass, proximity sensor and a gyroscope. Software wise, the phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Xiaomi’s own custom skin, MIUI 8 over laid on top of it. And finally powering this device all up is a 3350mAh non-user removable battery. This will be enough to get users a full day worth of battery life without any issues. And if the battery does run out there is the inclusion of Quick Charge 3.0 and USB Type C port for faster charging time.

If you are in the market to buy a Xiaomi Mi 6 I would suggest you go with the 128GB variant. Rs 3000 is a small price to pay for an extra 64GB of built in storage. The Mi 6, as of right now, is available for you to buy from any Mi Nepal outlets and showrooms across the nation. You can also directly order the phone online from their official website.
