Xiaomi Reportedly Working on Building Its Own Smart Car
While Huawei is stepping the toe in the automobile industry and constantly strengthening its presence, Xiaomi, a Chinese multinational electronics company, is also trying its best to enter the field. Reports suggest that Xiaomi Corporation is planning on building its own car.
Following the reports from multiple sources, it is confirmed that the tech giant is working with a strategic decision on building their own car; however, precise details about the plan are yet to be determined. The project is said to be directly led by the founder and CEO of the tech company, Lei Jun yet detailed information about the news is yet to be revealed.

Lei Jun’s couple of meets with the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk seems to have quite an impact on deepening the interest, now that Jun is up for working on their own car. The news doesn’t really come as a surprise for Xiaomi to enter the field as leading companies are being more and more involved in electrifying their products.
