Yamaha flags off ‘RIDE WITH ROADIES’ to Lo Manthang

– 15 tough FZ riders along with the trio of judges of The Himalayan Roadies will cover a distance of 1300 kms in 9 days.

‘Yamaha FZ Ride with Roadies’ to Lo Manthang, Upper Mustang, was officially flagged off from Yamaha’s Corporate Office at Kathmandu, today. The thrill-filled motorcycling, ‘Yamaha FZ Ride with Roadies’ saw 15 FZ riders along with the trio of judges of The Himalayan Roadies, Raymon Das Shrestha and Deeya Maskey on journey where they will be travelling to the roughest terrain and highest mountain passes of Nepal, covering a distance over 1300 Kilometers in 9 days on their Yamaha FZs.

The parade was flagged off by Mr. Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, MD, and Mr. Chiranjibi Shah, CEO, MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Yamaha motorcycles and scooters in Nepal.

‘Yamaha has been organizing ride out in regular-basis in past too. But, this is the biggest form till date. All we wanted is to bond strongly with Yamaha riders.’ Mr. Vishnu Kumar Agarwal said, addressing the riders at flag-off ceremony. He also thanked FZ riders for trusting Yamaha brand.

‘Yamaha motorcycles ensure the riding thrill without compromising safety and comfort. We hope this journey will provide a life-time motorcycling experience to the Yamaha FZ riders and also contribute in building unmatched brotherhood among riders,’ Agarwal added. Likewise, Mr. Chiranjibi Shah expressed best wishes to the riders and the crew.

The riders selected through rigorous auditions organized across Nepal, will not only be traversing the toughest landscape and harshest weather conditions but, also be witnessing overwhelming beauty and cultural diversity of the Himalaya range. The riders will also distribute educational materials in Shree Muktinath Aadarbhut Viddhyalaya, Muktinath, Jharkot. The daily updates of the ride out will be available at official Facebook page of Yamaha Nepal.

The herd of FZ25s willalso be accompanied by power packed, YAMAHA FZS -FI V3.0 which is first of its segment to have both Fuel Injection  (FI) Technology and Antilocking Brake System (ABS).

The riders selected for the ride are Bishal Rai and Sandeep Sharma from Itahari, Samman Shrestha and Sujan Poudel from Chitwan, Anil Baral and Sagar Burja Magar from Butwal, Jiwan Bayalkoti, Dipu Maharjan and Ayush Raj Khaniya from Kathmandu, Sandeep Chhetri, Gyanedra Bikram Shahi and Bishal Aryal from Pokhara and Special Entry of the only female rider, Pooja Gurung from Chitwan.

The team will be accompanied by the winner of The Himalayan Roadies Season-2 Ayush Shrestha and moto vloggers Ride with Sagar (Sagar Thapa) and Bikerzrevs (JuneshTwana). Yamaha is proud title sponsor of latest edition of The Himalayan Roadies,Wild Wild West.
