Yamaha has launched the FZS Fi Version 3.0 with ABS for the price of Rs. 3,09,900. For the additional money, Yamaha has updated the FZS Fi with a single-channel ABS unit, all-new design and more. Yamaha FZS Fi Version 3.0 now gets muscular fuel tank extensions, reminiscent of the Yamaha FZ25. They also house faux air vents. In addition to this, the motorcycle also gets LED headlamps, a stubbier exhaust and a new LCD instrument cluster.
Yamaha has also improved the ergonomics of the FZS Fi Version 3.0, with the handlebar now 22mm higher and closer to the rider. The rear subframe is also flatter, for better pillion comfort. Yamaha offers the FZS Fi Version 3.0 in two different colour schemes – Metric Black and Racing Blue.
Powering the motorcycle is the same 149cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as before. It churns out 13.2PS of power at 8000rpm and 12.8Nm of torque at 6000rpm, mated to a 5-speed transmission. The 2019 Yamaha FZS Fi uses a diamond-type frame, suspended on telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. It competes with the Honda CB Hornet 160R, Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS160.
