Yamaha launches the fourth-generation R15 V4 in Nepal

Yamaha Nepal has launched the fourth-generation R15 V4 at the brand’s Blue Square showroom, Naxal. The R15 V4 is a full-faired bike that comes with new design elements and upgraded features. The bike comes at a starting price of Rs 5.62 lakh.

Design and features 

The R15 V4 gets its design inspiration from the Yamaha MotoGP Edition. The bike comes with new front fascia that features single bi-functional LED headlamps with DRLS and new fairing setup, whereas, the rear section is same as that of the outgoing R15 V3 models. The other notable features are its windshield, split-set-up seats, and a side-slung exhaust. 

The bike comes equipped with a new fully-digital instrument console that is compatible with the brand’s Y-connect app; the Y-connect app displays phone notifications such as call alert, SMS, email, and phone battery level status on our instrument cluster screen. The other notable features are mobile charger, Traction Control System (TCS), quickshifter, aluminium swingarm, dual-channel ABS, and side stand engine cut-off switch, among others.  

Engine

The R15 V4 is powered by a 155 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled, 4-valve, 4-stroke, SOHC engine. The engine generates a peak power of 18.3 hp at 10000 rpm and a peak torque of 14.2 Nm at 7500 rpm. For transmission, the bike gets a six-speed gearbox. The V4 model comes with a fuel tank of 11 L and provides a mileage of 45 kmpl. Furthermore, the bike is offered with two riding modes:Street and Track.

Yamaha R15 V4 price in Nepal

MAW Enterprises, the official distributor of Yamaha bikes and scooters for Nepal, has launched the R15 V4 at a price of ₨ 5,62,900 for standard colours and the Racing Blue colour costs 10,000 more–priced at Rs 5,72,900.
